Simple and classic, can’t go wrong!
1 box (12 oz) pasta
2 cans (5 oz each) tuna, drained
1 pint cherry tomatoes, halved
6 ounces fresh mozzarella balls (diced, if desired)
1 tsp lemon zest
1 Tbsp capers, drained
2 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil
1 Tbsp lemon juice
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tsp Italian seasoning
¼ tsp salt
¼ tsp black pepper
Fresh basil to taste
Cook pasta according to package directions
Whisk together oil, vinegar, garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Set aside.
Combine tuna with pasta, then drizzle with dressing. Mix well. Top with basil to taste.
