Eggnog Waffles

To add a little something to your regular old waffle!

IngredientsDSC01809
2 C flour
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
½ tsp salt
2 C eggnog
2 large eggs, lightly beaten
6 Tbsp vegetable oilDSC01811

Directions

Sift together the dry ingredient (flour, powder, soda, and salt)

In a separate bowl, mix together the wet ingredients (eggnog, oil, and eggs)

Combine wet and dry ingredients, mix until smooth.DSC01813

Cook in waffle iron until done. This really depends on your waffle iron – it took about 1.5 minutes for each waffle in my waffle iron. Makes about 8 waffles.

Enjoy!

  1. Such an interesting blend of two familiar comforting things.

This post would make a great submission to Our Growing Edge, which is a link up party for new food adventures. This month’s theme is “Nostalgia”. More info here: http://bunnyeatsdesign.com/our-growing-edge/
