Candied Pecans

Oh, this is a dangerous recipe. These little delights disappear way too quickly.

1 C sugar
½ C packed brown sugar
1-1/2 Tbsp cinnamon
1 egg white
2 tsp vanilla
¼ C water

Sift together sugar, brown sugar, and cinnamon

Whisk together egg white and vanilla until frothy

Prepare slow cooker by spraying with non-stick cooking sprayer

Pour egg white and vanilla mixture over four cups of pecans. Mix until all pecans are covered. Pour sugar mixture over, and mix until all pecans are coated

Cook on low for 3 hours, stirring every 20-30 minutes

When 20 minutes are left, pour ¼ C water over pecans and mix until all pecans are coated

Spread out over wire cooling racks
